SSB 05.2 DUO shotcrete machine - FILAMOS

The SSB 05.2 DUO series shotcrete machine is a device for spraying shotcrete and refractory concrete using dry and wet methods. The machine operates on the principle of a metering drum (rotor). The SSB 05.2 DUO shotcrete machine achieves a theoretical output of 0.8 – 5.0 m³/h and is designed for small and medium-sized jobs. In the DUO version, the output is regulated by an electric switch - 2 speeds.

Application:

The main areas of application for the machine include the spraying of refractory concrete in the construction of metallurgical and glass furnaces, coking plants, as well as in the metallurgical, chemical and glass industries. They are also used for repairs of concrete structures (e.g. road and railway bridges, retaining walls, cooling towers, water tanks, water treatment plants, etc.), in the construction and reconstruction of buildings, and for reinforcing vaults in tunnels and collectors.

The small drum is used in particular for spraying fine, dry and heavy mixtures (heat-resistant concrete, fine prefabricated mixtures). For spraying concrete using the so-called wet method, use the MAXI dosing drum (7.9 l).

Dry method:

The dry mixture intended for spraying or transport is fed into the hopper, from where it smoothly fills the openings of the dosing drum located under the hopper (tank). For efficient filling of the dosing drum with the mixture, the machine's hopper is equipped with an air vibrator and a mortar feeder. The rotating drum feeds the mixture towards the upper air duct, through which it is blown out of the individual holes in the drum towards the hoses transporting the mixture. Then, air is additionally blown into the transport hoses to facilitate the smooth movement of the material in the hoses. A spray gun is mounted at the end of the hoses, to which water is supplied to moisten the sprayed mixture. The level of moistening of the mixture is regulated by the water valve of the gun.

Wet method:

When spraying concrete mix using the wet method, the machine's hopper is filled with a pre-prepared wet mix of the same quality and composition as ready-mixed concrete. The mortar is transported through the machine in the same way as in the dry method. The only difference is that instead of water, a chemical accelerator is fed to the spray nozzle of the gun, which is possible thanks to an external chemical dosing pump.

Advantages:

  • efficiency in transporting heavy, dry and fine concrete mixes (heat-resistant concrete, fine precast mixes)
  • possibility of using both spraying technologies – dry and wet methods
  • long service life of wear parts (sealing and support plates) thanks to the use of central lubrication
  • smooth capacity control
  • remote control option
  • low operating costs
  • simple operation and maintenance of the machine
  • robust construction enables operation in harsh conditions.

The machine's output can be adjusted by:

  • changing the speed using a switch - DUO version
  • mechanically via the pulley of the continuously variable transmission - STANDARD version
  • using the stepless transmission control knob - COM-V version
  • remote control of the inverter - COM-F version
  • using an air motor control valve - COM-A version.

  • spray nozzle cap - 2 pieces.

*) These are theoretical values. Actual performance depends on the type and composition of the mixture being transported, its moisture content, transport distance, compressed air volume and pressure, and the diameter of the supply hoses.

**) Air consumption data are approximate values only and depend on the current performance of the machine, the transport length and the diameter of the supply hoses.
