GRACO 60 mesh finger filter - 287032

Finger filter for GRACO spray guns: CONTRACTOR, CONTRACTOR PC, XTR.

Available in four screen densities:

• 30 mesh (grey) - thick paints, e.g. facade paints (silicate, silicone)
• 60 mesh (black) - water-soluble paints (emulsions, acrylics, latexes)
• 100 mesh (blue) - solvent-based paints (varnishes, stains, enamels)
• 150 mesh (orange) - solvent-based paints (varnishes, stains, enamels)

Filter selection according to nozzle size:

• 0.007"-0.009" 150 mesh filter
• 0.011 - 0.013" 100 mesh filter
• 0.015 - 0.019" 60 mesh filter
• 0.021 - 0.025" 30 mesh filter

The use of filters prevents dirt or contaminants from entering the spray system. They minimise the possibility of nozzle clogging and optimise the quality of the finish. The size of the filter is determined by its mesh number. The denser the mesh, the more filtered the material will be. It is recommended to use finer filters (100, 150 mesh) for lower viscosity materials (varnishes, stains), larger filters (60 mesh) for denser materials such as latex and acrylic emulsion paints, and (30 mesh) for very dense materials such as exterior paints.
