AIRLESSCO / GRACO FTX 100 mesh finger filter

Finger filter for paint spray guns: AIRLESSCO, GRACO (FTX, XTR), STRONG, DEDRA.

Available in two screen densities:

• 50 mesh (BLUE) - water-soluble paints (emulsions, acrylics, latexes)
• 100 mesh (ORANGE) - solvent-based paints (varnishes, stains, enamels)

Filter selection according to nozzle size:

• 0.007" 200 mesh filter
• 0.011 - 0.013" 100 mesh filter
• 0.015 - 0.019" 60 mesh filter
• 0.021 - 0.025" 30 mesh filter

The use of filters prevents dirt or contaminants from entering the spray system. They minimise the possibility of nozzle clogging and optimise the finish quality. The size of the filter is determined by its mesh number. The denser the mesh, the more filtered the material will be. It is recommended to use smaller filters (100, 200 mesh) for lower viscosity materials (varnishes, stains), larger filters (60 mesh) for denser materials such as latex and acrylic emulsion paints, and (30 mesh) for very dense materials such as exterior paints.
