A device designed for cutting polystyrene. The cutting part is a heated resistance wire. The device is powered by a 230 V voltage source. A functional measuring device facilitates the accurate measurement of polystyrene boards. The design of the device allows cutting at an angle of 90 to any acute angle, ensuring complete cutting of the material. Functionality in all conditions and simple operation. Precise shaping guarantees material savings. The device is small in size, easy to disassemble, transport and store. It is energy-efficient and, thanks to its functional qualities, saves time. The device operates vertically and comes with 2 aluminium supports (legs), an engraved gauge for measuring cut polystyrene and angle scales on hinges and on the worktop. The device can be used to make straight and angled cuts, as well as milling cuts. It can cut polystyrene from a thickness of, for example, 200 mm to 150 mm.
