Styrofoam disc for plastering trowels

Professional polystyrene disc for plastering trowels, designed for machine-applied plasters and traditional mixtures. It is highly durable and hard, which guarantees high performance. It is easy to keep clean and ensures an even, smooth surface.

Parameters:

• disc diameter: 40 cm
• polystyrene thickness: 3 cm
• fastening: 4 Velcro strips (5 x 9 cm)

ADVANTAGES:

• works great with machine-applied plaster and traditional mixtures, e.g. sand, "kopalniak" and "mułek"
• high durability – efficiency approx. 1500 – 2000 m2, for example with Anser two-day machine-applied plaster – grain thickness 0.5 – 0.8
• disc hardness is FS 110 – very good quality polystyrene trowel hardness (for comparison, the hardest polystyrene for screeds has a hardness of FS 25)
• Compared to a sponge, a polystyrene disc is easy to keep clean and can be reused without any problems (even if you forget to wash it after work).
• When smoothing cement-lime plaster with a polystyrene disc, an even, flat surface is obtained. The customer will not be able to find fault with anything, even if they check the surface under harsh light.

The wear of the polystyrene disc depends on the size of the sand grains in the plaster mortar; the smaller they are, the longer the cladding will last. The disc should be used on slightly dry and then wet plaster (the same principle as for polystyrene trowels). The time after which trowelling should begin depends on many factors: the substrate (brick, Suporex, concrete), the cement-lime mixture, and the air temperature. The contractor must determine when to start trowelling the surface. The plaster must be neither too dry nor too wet.
